Collection: Respiratory Health: Breath and Vitalit

The respiratory system is the gateway for life-sustaining oxygen to enter your body and for waste gases, such as carbon dioxide, to be expelled. This continuous exchange of gases is essential for every cell in your body to produce energy and maintain health.

The Mechanics of Respiration

As you breathe, air is drawn through the nose and mouth, where it is warmed and moistened before traveling through a sophisticated series of pathways:

  • The Upper Airways: Air passes through the pharynx (throat) and larynx (voice box) down into the trachea (windpipe).
  • The Bronchial Tree: The trachea branches into bronchi and smaller bronchioles, acting as the "branches" that deliver air deep into the lungs.
  • Gas Exchange (Alveoli): At the very end of these branches are tiny air sacs called alveoli. Here, oxygen enters your bloodstream while carbon dioxide is captured to be breathed out

Protecting Your Respiratory System

Because the lungs are constantly exposed to the external environment, they are susceptible to inflammation, allergens, and pathogens. Common challenges include:

  • Chronic Conditions: Managing the symptoms of Asthma, Bronchitis, and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).
  • Allergic Responses: Addressing the irritation caused by Hay Fever and environmental pollutants.
  • Infections & Viruses: Supporting the body’s recovery from common colds, Influenza, Croup, and viral illnesses like COVID-19.
  • Acute Concerns: Soothing the respiratory tract during bouts of Laryngitis, Whooping Cough, or Bronchiolitis.

Ordering Procedure: How to Get Started

To ensure your safety and the efficacy of our Practitioner-Only range, we operate a review-based ordering process.

Our Safety Review Process

  • Browse and Select: Please look through our range and identify the supplements you are interested in.
  • Submit Your Questionnaire: Once you’ve decided on your supplements, please follow this link back to our main Supplement Page. Scroll down to fill out and submit your health questionnaire for review.
  • Practitioner Review: Our Herbal Naturopath will review your profile to ensure your selected clinical-strength supplements are safe for you and do not interact with any current medications.
  • Approval to Order: Once your review is complete, we will notify you via email that your ordering access is active and you may place your order.

Your submitted questionnaire covers three consecutive orders. On your fourth order, we will ask for a brief update to ensure your health profile remains current.
