Musculoskeletal Health

The musculoskeletal system includes bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and soft tissues. They work together to support your body’s weight and help you move. 

The parts of the musculoskeletal system are:

  • Bones - provide structure and form for your body. They work with muscles, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues to help you move.
  • Cartilage: A type of connective tissue, cartilage cushions bones inside your joints, along your spine and in your ribcage. You also have cartilage in your nose, ears, pelvis and lungs.
  • Joints: Bones come together to form joints.  
  • Muscles: Each muscle is made of thousands of stretchy fibers. Your muscles allow you to move, sit upright and stay still. 
  • Ligaments: Made of tough collagen fibers, ligaments connect bones and help stabilize joints.
  • Tendons: Tendons connect muscles to bones. Made of fibrous tissue and collagen, tendons are tough but not very stretchy.

Hundreds of conditions can cause problems with the musculoskeletal system.  Here are a few.  

  • Aging - Osteoporosis, Pain, Stiffness, decreased range of motion, bone fractures

  • Injuries: Hundreds of injuries can affect bones, cartilage, muscles and connective tissues. Injuries can result from overuse, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, bursitis, tendonitis, sprains, muscle tears, broken bones any injury to tendons, ligaments

Our Herbal Naturopath will review your responses to ensure the supplements you've selected are appropriate for your needs. Once the suitability is confirmed, we will send you an invoice for payment. Freight charges may be added.  Upon receiving your payment, your order will be promptly dispatched.

You can place up to three consecutive orders without completing another questionnaire, but on your fourth order, a new questionnaire will be required, which will then cover the next three orders, and so on.
