This is the essential entry point for all new clients. We move beyond surface-level symptoms to understand the "why" behind your health concerns.

Standard Follow-Up

45 Mins - In-Person or Telehealth (Recommended every 8 weeks)

Available to existing clients to review progress, adjust protocols, and ensure your health journey stays on track as your needs evolve. 

  • Clinical Calibration: Follow up questionnaire to see how you are going with previous treatment plan.  We use Applied Muscle Testing (for in-person appointments) to refine your formula/supplements, ensuring you aren't taking anything your body no longer requires.
  • Protocol Refinement: Data-backed adjustments to your nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement plan.
  • Safety & Oversight: Professional monitoring of your progress to prevent plateaus.
  • AVATAR bio-energetic Scan: This rescan is to show you how you have improved and which pathway we need to go down next.

The "Acute" or Quick Check-In

Duration: 15–20 Minutes - Telehealth

  • Designed for existing clients (who we haven't heard from in more than 4 weeks) who needs a quick script renewal or questions with their treatment plan.
  • For anyone who has an acute issue that doesn't need an appointment and who only wants a remedy for symptom relief (like getting over a virus or a high-stress event).

Prescription Access & Clinical Continuity

To make your protocol as seamless as possible, you will be provided with access to an Online Prescription Portal. This allows you to order your practitioner only supplements directly and delivered to your door at your convenience.  No need to have an appointment for 8 weeks.  This option is only for those clients who have had their Mastercase Initial Appointment.

The 8-Week Review Cycle: Because your biochemistry is constantly shifting as you heal, clinical scripts remain active for 8 weeks. Every two months, a follow-up consultation is required to review your progress and re-calibrate your prescription. This ensures your protocol remains safe, cost-effective, and perfectly aligned with your current needs.

  • Standard Follow-Up (30 Minutes) | $95 Best for progress reviews, quick protocol adjustments, and routine "Clinical Calibrations."
  • Extended Follow-Up (45 Minutes) | $140 Recommended if you have multiple concerns to discuss or if we are integrating new test results into your plan.

Custom Tinctures

Clients prescribed a custom herbal formula have direct access to the Oak Tree Apothecary. This allows you to reorder your custome tinctures between consultations as needed.

  • The 1-in-4 Protocol: To maintain clinical safety and efficacy, if you are not attending regular 8-week follow-up appointments, a 30-minute Clinical Review ($95) is required for every 4th tincture refill. This ensures your formula remains a perfect match for your shifting biology.

How accurate is Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)?

HTMA is a highly reliable, standardized functional test when processed by an accredited pathology laboratory. While blood tests measure nutrients circulating in your bloodstream at a single moment, hair tissue provides a stable, 3- to 4-month average of cellular mineral storage and heavy metal accumulation. Research shows that hair tissue is an exceptional medium
for monitoring long-term mineral balances, metabolic patterns, and environmental toxic load.

Can I do an HTMA test if my hair is coloured or dyed?

Yes, you can still complete an HTMA test if you dye your hair, but a few guidelines ensure accurate results:

  • Untreated Hair is Ideal: The best sample is taken from new growth at the nape of the neck (the first 3–4 cm closest to he scalp).
  • Wait Between Treatments: We recommend waiting 6 to 8 weeks (or roughly 6–8 washings) after bleach, dye, or a perm before collecting your sample.
  • Alternative Sample Options: If your head hair is heavily bleached or chemically treated from root to tip, we can easily utilize untreated beard hair or pubic hair as an accurate alternative.

How much hair is required for the sample, and will itleave a noticeable spot?

We only need about 125 milligrams of hair, which is roughly equivalent to a heaped teaspoon. Samples are taken in tiny, thin snips from multiple discreet locations near the base of the skull at the nape of the neck. Because the cuts are small and hidden under your top layers of hair, it is completely undetectable once your hair is down.

Is HTMA testing suitable for young children or sensory-sensitive individuals?

Absolutely—HTMA is one of the most gentle, non-invasive functional tests available. Because there are no needles, blood draws, or fasting required, it is ideal for toddlers, young children, and sensory-sensitive clients.

What is the difference between a blood test and a hair mineral test?

Blood serum is tightly regulated by the body to maintain homeostatic balance (for example, keeping blood calcium levels stable to protect heart function). If tissue mineral levels drop, the body will pull calcium from bones and tissue into the blood to compensate—making blood work
appear "normal" even during cellular depletion. HTMA measures the minerals actually stored in your cells and tissues over time, revealing chronic imbalances that standard blood tests frequently miss.

How long does it take to get my HTMA results back?

Once your sample arrives at our laboratory, analysis typically takes 2 to 3 weeks.
